The Cubo 2 set is a pair of 2-way speakers. Its main cabinet relies on a bass-reflex architecture housing a 15-inch woofer dedicated to low frequencies.

The top of the speaker is surmounted by a fully 3D-printed (PETG) tweeter horn. Designed using a multicellular geometry to optimize high-frequency dispersion, this horn was specifically modeled to match the acoustic curves of the compression driver mounted at the rear.

The complete system consists of two Cubo 2 speakers for a total power output of 800 W RMS.

Acoustic Design & Drivers

The Cubo 2 passive speaker is equipped with a 15-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch compression driver mounted on a 3D-printed multicell horn. Two horn geometries are available:

2x5 Model: Favors a very wide horizontal dispersion.
3x4 Model: Offers a larger vertical dispersion with a narrower horizontal angle.

High-Fidelity Passive Crossover: CROSS 2 (5426 Studio)

Cubo 2 relies on the custom 2-way passive crossover CROSS 2, designed to fully unleash the potential of the 15" woofer and 1.75" compression driver for both audiophile and high-power PA applications:

2nd-order Linkwitz-Riley topology (12 dB/octave): Crossover frequency set to 2.4 kHz (2.8 kHz compatible) ensuring exemplary phase transition and a precise soundstage, without midrange dips or bumps. Acoustic phase inversion is integrated directly onto the PCB.
400 W RMS (800 W peak) power handling @ 8 Ω: Circuit sized to withstand high continuous power levels thanks to 6.0 mm trace widths, a double 2 oz (70 µm) heavy copper ground plane, and a reinforced 40 W L-Pad treble attenuator (two 20 W ceramic resistors in parallel).
Audiophile components & zero crosstalk:
- 250 V / 400 V MKP polypropylene film capacitors for crystal-clear high-frequency transparency.
- Air-core and ferrite-core inductors with ultra-low DC resistance (Rdc<0,25 ), arranged at 90° (orthogonal X / Z axes) to eliminate stray magnetic coupling between channels.
Professional construction: 220 × 150 mm Matte Black PCB with genuine gold plating (ENIG), anti-vibration zip-tie mounting for inductors, and high-current industrial screw terminal blocks (30 A).

Customization & Options

Finishes: Custom color options for both the cabinet and the multicell horn.
ID Plate: Customizable plate color, typography, and text (option to add custom inscriptions or logos).
Feet & Protection: Custom-built feet or heavy-duty casters, with optional protective corner guards.
